Frazer Clarke showed grit against veteran Dave Allen scoring a stoppage win

Clarke, writing in a column for METRO, stated that he wants to fight the of the Wardley vs. Adeleye battle with no exceptions. He expressed determination not to let anyone "pull the fight" away from him. Clarke's reference to "pulling the fight" stems from his previous situation where a potential fight between himself and Fabio Wardley, set for purse bids, was canceled after promoter Ben Shalom withdrew his fighter from the bid at the last moment. Clarke received criticism for this cancellation and is resolute in ensuring it does not happen again.

"The big talking point this year was the purse bid situation with Fabio Wardley and the British title," Clarke wrote. "I felt ready for that fight then, in the early summer, and I was desperate for that to happen. 16 rounds on, I am more than ready and I want to be next in line to fight the winner of Fabio Wardley and David Adeleye assuming the British title is on the line when they fight. There can be no b*****t now, no excuses. I will take that fight. This time, if anyone tries to pull it from me, I won’t be having it." As it turns out the word is that the British title will not be on the line, due most probably to the fight not taking place on British soil.

Frazer Clarke isn't interested in waiting before challenging for the British Title

While Clarke's primary goal is to challenge for the British title, he expressed his strong desire to face the winner of the Wardley-Adeleye bout, provided the British title is at stake.
